LSI is very excited to announce that works on our completely refurbished and redeveloped Brighton school and in-school student residence are now complete.
Our new 14 classroom school also has an 11 room student residence as a part of the school building.
New Residence
Our 11 bedroom residence is a brand new facility within the school building at 55 Portland Road and is the newest purpose built-student residence in Brighton. All the rooms are modern en-suite rooms, with either single or bunk beds, giving us 16 beds. The school building has a fully equipped kitchen, 2 lounge spaces and access to the school garden as well as a courtyard area exclusively for residents. The residence also has an on-site laundry.

School Facilities
We have 14 classrooms and teaching spaces in the new LSI Brighton.
The school features modern and light classrooms, a student lounge and garden lounge which extends onto a patio area in spring and summer. Day students have access to a kitchen and relaxing outdoor spaces in the shape of our garden and courtyard areas.

Improved access to Homestay accommodation:
The Portland Road building is located just outside the downtown area and is inside one of the prime residential areas of the city where many of our hosts live. This will mean shorter travel distances to homestay accommodation for our students. From Portland Road the average travelling distance to school is now 15-25 minutes walking distance or a short bus ride.
LSI’s Ventnor Villas building which has been open for 40 years is now our secondary teaching space with 9 classrooms.
