LSI schools have transitioned online
In light of the growing concerns over Covid-19 and in response to government guidelines, all LSI schools in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, France and Switzerland have transitioned to online lessons.
LSI staff are still available to provide support to our on-shore students as well as our new off-shore students who are joining our online campuses. and will continue to provide all student services, including housing and welfare.
LSI schools reopening
We’re delighted to say that LSI Auckland has now reopened and LSI Paris and LSI Zurich are scheduled to reopen Monday June 08. Our staff have been working exceptionally hard to ensure that we meet local guidelines on social distancing and we’re confident that these are safe spaces for students and staff. For more information on our social distancing measures, please contact your chosen school for more information.
Travel restrictions – Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France & Switzerland
The federal governments in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France & Switzerland have imposed travel restrictions on foreign nationals seeking to enter their respective countries. Students scheduled to arrive in the coming weeks should contact their chosen LSI school for more information and advice.
LSI is now operating online English campuses in several different timezones; the UK (GMT), the NA East Coast (ET), the NA West Coast (PST), Australian East Coast (AEST) and New Zealand (NZDT). In addition, LSI is running an online French campus and an online German campus in central Europe (CET).
All LSI students are being offered online lessons instead of face to face classes. These lessons follow the regular LSI programme, are led by a LSI teacher and provide the same teacher contact time as face to face classes.
Students that had previously booked face to face classes can join any of our online campuses from their home countries (or from their LSI accommodation). For these students we are also providing credits for free face to face lessons in the future; For every two weeks of online lessons taken, students are entitled to a credit for one free week of face to face classes in the future at any LSI school worldwide. (Please refer to online lessons promotion terms & conditions below).
Existing students that would prefer not to take these online lessons can postpone their remaining weeks.
For further information please contact LSI schools or your LSI representative.
