From the start of 2019 LSI will be launching our evening language courses aimed at attracting students who, due to work or study commitments, are unable to attend our daytime courses. Our evening courses offer structured language classes that cover grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, as well as developing the four key skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) and will cover similar content to the day classes.
At LSI Auckland we will run our Intensive 24 programme in the evenings following the same curriculum as the daytime programme. The Evening Intensive 24 is organised into 14-week terms, ideal for students who need to study for a minimum of 14 weeks to qualify for 20 hour work rights. Another great feature of this course is that students will have the flexibility to switch between the day and evening classes (subject to availability and two week’s notice). The course is very intensive involving 4 hours of daily tuition from Monday to Friday, with courses starting at 5pm and, including short breaks, finishing at 9:30pm. The classes will offer General English but, according to student demand, the school may also offer electives such as Business English or exam preparation.
Our school in Paris will be also run a choice of evening language programmes in either French or English. The classes will be less intensive than in Auckland, but will be ideal for students who only have a few nights a week free to study. The courses are offered as 12 week programmes, with 3 hours of tuition per week and will run on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:30pm. Courses start in January, April, July and September.
We’re very excited about our new evening courses and we hope you will be too. To find out more details about our evening classes you can visit our website page.
