Learning English is about more than words and grammar; it is about gaining confidence, developing the ability to communicate across cultures, and experiencing the culture behind the language. At LSI London, students combine high-quality English lessons with opportunities to discover British culture, explore everyday life in London and develop their language skills through real-world experiences both inside and outside the classroom. That is why we are always pleased to welcome inspiring guests and language experts who can share their knowledge and provide our students with additional support throughout their English learning journey!
This July, LSI London welcomed the BBC Learning English team as part of BBC Learning English On Tour 2026, bringing a unique learning experience directly to our international student community. The visit gave students currently studying English at LSI London the opportunity to take part in interactive sessions, explore new approaches to language learning, and learn more about the resources available to help them practise and improve their English beyond the classroom. Working with students from different levels, the BBC Learning English team shared practical advice and introduced learners to a variety of free tools designed to support their progress. The visit was a valuable opportunity for our students to connect with one of the world’s most recognised English language learning organisations while continuing to build their confidence and develop their communication skills.
