Perhaps LSI’s new course which focuses on legal English might help you to make that step up. In 2019 LSI will be offering English for Law, a course aimed at students who wish to improve their job prospects in the field of international law.
These days English is recognised as the language of communication in the modern legal community. The English for Law course will not only improve your general level of English, but will also enhance your knowledge in the field of civil, corporate and contract law, formal report writing and much more. By the end of the course you will feel more able to communicate effectively with legal colleagues from around the world. Key features of the course include:
- 20 lessons per week general English
- 10 lessons per week legal English
- Intermediate to Advanced levels
- Option on our LSI Intensive 30 course
- Age 16+
- 8 weekly modules covering a different aspect of law
Modules including: Company and Contractual Law, Employment Law and Human Resources, Human Rights, Immigration and Civil Liberty, Competition Law and Copyright. Other modules may be available on demand.
Currently the course is offered at our schools in London Central, Cambridge, Toronto and Auckland.
