One recent student at LSI Paris, discusses her impressions of Paris and of LSI. Rebecca Rosen is from Denmark and it appears that living in Paris has been a long held dream.<\/p>\n

“My\u00a0first trip to Paris was when I was 8 years old. I was on a trip with my mum who used to live\u00a0and\u00a0work as an au pair there when she was younger. I clearly remember my first impressions of Paris, its people and its contagious spirit. According to my mum I loved Paris so much that I said: “Mum, I want to live here some day.”<\/p>\n

In March 2017 I decided to follow these dreams. For six months, I\u00a0stayed in the city and was able to experience Paris at first hand\u00a0.\u00a0It was\u00a0a snap decision made a\u00a0few weeks beforehand and not particularly well-planned . I had no specific\u00a0aim apart from at long last getting the chance\u00a0to explore and experience the culture of the French city that had stolen my heart as a child.<\/p>\n

Having studied basic French in school for 5 years, I had some knowledge of the language. However this was an opportunity to learn more and I was eager to reach a higher level. So, one afternoon upon wandering around le Marais I went to enrol at LSI Paris. I followed the course for four weeks and\u00a0 vastly improved my language skills. More importantly, though,\u00a0I met some truly wonderful people, some of whom I still speak to regularly.<\/p>\n

Looking back at my trip I\u2019m very glad that I found someone with whom I had a common ground.\u00a0\u00a0Going to LSI for the first month of my stay definitely helped me\u00a0to\u00a0settle into my new, though temporary, life. During my stay I got to further indulge\u00a0my interest in fashion and art. The streets of Paris have an\u00a0inspiring, creative spirit that\u00a0 is absolutely contagious.<\/p>\n

If, like me, you\u00a0appreciate aesthetics and thrive on beautiful\u00a0surrounding, history and interesting people, Paris is definitely the place to be. It’s a\u00a0place that I plan on returning to as soon as the chance presents itself. Allez! D\u00e9couvrez Paris – la meilleure source d\u2019amour et d\u2019inspiration \u00e9ternelle.\u201d<\/p>\n
