We are very pleased to welcome Jess Ge to the LSI team.\u00a0 Jess will be working as the LSI Marketing co-ordinator in China and is based in Ningbo City, Zhejiang province. Over the last 13 years Jess has had experience\u00a0of placing A-level students in top sixth forms colleges.\u00a0LSI plan to\u00a0utilise Jess’s knowledge\u00a0to build up closer links for\u00a0\u00a0LSI Independent Sixth Form College.\u00a0 In addition,\u00a0Jess will work alongside Chinese agents to place students on language courses\u00a0 across all\u00a0our LSI language schools.<\/p>\n

One of Jess’s first tasks was to\u00a0 attend ICEF Beijing alongside Se\u00e1n Buckley, Principal of LSI Independent Sixth Form College. Se\u00e1n\u00a0and Jess\u00a0were kept very busy during the ICEF workshops. First\u00a0Se\u00e1n\u00a0gave a\u00a0presentation on \u201cGetting into Top Universities\u201d which was\u00a0translated by Jess.\u00a0The talk was very well received by the audience.\u00a0Then\u00a0Jess and Se\u00e1n met with over 30 local agents, who all expressed a strong interest not only in the Sixth Form College but also in the language schools.\u00a0 Follow-up meetings with a range of agents have already been held, with plans for groups and individuals to attend our courses being made.<\/p>\n

As a result\u00a0of such positive feedback, Se\u00e1n\u00a0will return\u00a0to China in early November. He will\u00a0attend an international education event at Hangzhou Greentown School, a visit\u00a0set up\u00a0by Jess.\u00a0 He will give a keynote talk on STEM education and will meet students at the school.\u00a0 Hangzhou Greentown School is very international in its outlook and has a tradition of sending students to\u00a0be educated\u00a0abroad.<\/p>\n

We\u00a0all hope that this will be a very fruitful development for LSI.<\/p>\n
