The Academy offers a wide\u00a0range of diploma courses from film making and animation to acting and musical theatre. As a LSI Partner, students at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lsi.edu\/en\/schools\/usa\/learn-english-in-new-york\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LSI New York<\/a>\u00a0with an upper-intermediate level of English or higher, can apply for diploma courses at the Academy.<\/p>\n<p>One recent LSI student did just that. In his native Corsica, Marcello Valery\u00a0is a film maker, photographer and actor.\u00a0Marcello\u00a0decided to enrol\u00a0on the General 20 course at LSI New York from September until May. At the same, during the evenings,\u00a0he\u00a0enrolled on film and acting courses at the Academy. For him, it was\u00a0a chance\u00a0to improve not just his English , but his professional skills.<\/p>\n<p>Whilst Marcello enjoyed his studies at LSI and the New York Film Academy, he claims that he has been inspired most by the chance to meet and form friendships with the wide\u00a0variety of students at LSI New York.\u00a0As a result of\u00a0the happy time\u00a0he spent in\u00a0New York,\u00a0Marcello\u00a0now plans\u00a0to return to the West Coast in the Fall to continue his film studies.
