{"id":2273,"date":"2017-05-02T10:43:29","date_gmt":"2017-05-02T09:43:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.lsi.edu\/?p=2273"},"modified":"2018-04-17T16:33:15","modified_gmt":"2018-04-17T15:33:15","slug":"2273","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.lsi.edu\/index.php\/2017\/05\/2273\/","title":{"rendered":"LSI Berkeley Students Indulge in a Typical American Pastime"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Baseball is one of the US\u2019s national pastimes, one which we love our students to experience.\u00a0Consequently\u00a0our US schools frequently\u00a0arrange tickets to see some of the top baseball teams.<\/p>\n<p>Student\u2019s at LSI Berkeley recently enjoyed a school outing\u00a0to watch a game at\u00a0Oakland Coliseum. The Oakland A&#8217;s took on the Seattle Mariners and beat them 4-3. For many students, it was their first time at a Major League Baseball game. Since our director Greg\u00a0and teacher Andy are\u00a0big baseball\u00a0fans, they were on hand to help explain the game.
