The <a title=\"Cambridge examinations offered at Language Studies International\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lsi.edu\/en\/exam_courses.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">TKT <\/a>(Teaching Knowledge Test), one of the widely respected <a title=\"Cambridge ESOL  Examinations\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cambridgeesol.org\/index.html\" target=\"_self\">Cambridge ESOL <\/a>examinations, is ideal for all existing teachers whatever their back ground as well as those who would like to take up teaching. Although the TKT is not a teaching qualification in itself, the course content is primarily about the teaching of English and will therefore give any potential student a good foundation to pursue any further teaching qualification.<\/p>\n<p>The course focuses are the following key areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the different methodologies of teaching<\/li>\n<li>the &#8216;language of teaching&#8217;<\/li>\n<li>finding, creating and effectively using resources<\/li>\n<li>the main aspects of effective lesson planning<\/li>\n<li>classroom management methods for different needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As a highly specialised course , the course is presently only offered in some of our <a title=\"Language Studies international - map of our language schools \" href=\"http:\/\/www.lsi.edu\/en\/schools.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">language schools<\/a>.
